QUESTION: Are your bounce houses clean?
ANSWER: All of our bounce houses are brand new, and are cleaned after every use. We wouldn’t want our kids in a messy bounce house and neither would you.
QUESTION: Where can the bounce house be set up?
ANSWER: Many home owners with small yards don’t realize that they can set up behind or in front of their garage. All units will fit in a standard double driveway. This is assuming that there isn’t a steep incline. The units must be set up on a fairly flat surface, but a slight incline is ok. The area must be free of anything that might puncture or rip the unit such as above ground tree roots, rocks, etc.
QUESTION: Will you provide an attendant to monitor the bounce house?
ANSWER: We can provide an attendant at a rate of $20 per hour to monitor the safety of the children.
QUESTION: Who sets up the bounce house?
ANSWER: We will provide the delivery and setup of the bounce house at no additional charge.
QUESTION: Do you require a deposit?
ANSWER: No. We know that you are counting on us, so we count on you.
QUESTION: When do you take payment?
ANSWER: When we arrive, we will ask for the contact person to show us where they would like the unit set up. Then we will go over the rental agreement and liability waiver and take payment at that time, we accept cash or check. The unit is set up only after payment is made.
QUESTION: Where can we set up?
ANSWER: Patch’s Party Bouncers can set up our Bounce Houses on any flat surface, which is 15x15 ft. Back and front yards of private residences, church and school gyms, fellowship or meeting halls with vaulted ceilings all work great. . If your backyard will not accommodate the unit, most flat driveways work great. All Bounce Houses require an area clear of tree branches. Our trained professional staff will deliver, set up and take down the unit, with no work on the customer’s part.
QUESTION: Are bounce houses safe?
ANSWER: Our Bounce Houses are constructed with children's safety in mind. They are covered for protection from the weather. They are made of extra strong materials with netting on the sides for safety, as well as extra ventilation. We also have an inflatable safety step, so that children are able to climb into the bounce house by themselves. No lifting of the little ones required. A responsible ADULT must supervise play at all times.
QUESTION: Inclement Weather:
ANSWER: We make every effort to set up for each and every rental reservation. The safety of your children however is our top priority. Patch’s Party Bouncers cannot set up in inclement weather due to the chance of injury or electrocution. This includes rain, high winds, hail, snow, sleet, and ice. If the weather looks cloudy but it is not raining hard, we will give the customer a choice whether or not to set up. Once the Bounce House is in place, the customer will be charged regardless if the day turns rainy.
QUESTION: When can I use a Bounce House?
ANSWER: Our units are perfect for any event that children will attend. Most children love to jump and/or slide and will not be able to get enough of the Bounce House. It will provide hours of fun for any event. Listed below are some suggested events that may require a Bounce House:
Daycares, Pre-Schools, Birthday Parties, Carnivals, First Communions. End of Season Sports Parties. Adult Birthday Parties with children present. Wedding Receptions, Super bowl Parties. End of School parties, Boy Scout/Girl Scout functions, Vacation Bible School, Field Days, July 4th , Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve, Easter, Grand Openings, Sleepovers (Slumber parties), or Lock-ins (Bounce House will fit in most gyms).
QUESTION: What areas do you serve?
ANSWER: Patch’s Party Bouncers provides free delivery to Fort Worth, Arlington, Mid-Cities, Southlake, Colleyville and surrounding areas. A small delivery fee applies to residents outside of this area. We deliver, set up, inspect and clean our units before your party. We return after the event to disassemble the Bounce House.
QUESTION: Rental Agreements/Receipts.
ANSWER: Each customer is asked to sign a rental agreement including release of liability at the time the Bounce House is set up.
QUESTION: How far in advance should I make my reservations?
ANSWER: Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Bounce House units are very poplar and sometime we are booked up weeks and even months in advance.
QUESTION: How much room is needed for a bounce house and what surfaces can the bounce house be set up on?
ANSWER: You will need to provide a level area of about 15 x 15 feet, for the houses, and 15 x 40, for the slide, with an overhead clearance of 17 feet for our units. Our units can be set up on any level surface such as grass, concrete, asphalt, dirt, and even indoor gymnasiums. Please specify which surface the bounce house will be setup on so we can provide the appropriate anchors.
QUESTION: Do you set up in parks?
ANSWER: Yes. Call us for pricing. Many parks do require a permit. You may have to use a generator, which we can provide for an extra fee, as not all park locations have electricity.
QUESTION: Do you deliver and set up the bounce houses?
ANSWER: Yes. We deliver and set up all bounce house units and insure that they are clean before your party starts. We also insure that the units are in good working condition as we test the units for safety after set up.
QUESTION: What time do you deliver and pick-up the bounce house?
ANSWER: You decide on the specific rental time and we'll be there anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours before that for set up. You do not pay for set up time. Rentals are for jumping time only. We pick-up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to 3 hours for pick-up. If an exact pick-up time is crucial, just let us know.
QUESTION: Is there a delivery charge?
ANSWER: Delivery is free in most cities within our service area. Please call for further details.
QUESTION: Are bounce houses safe?
ANSWER: Absolutely! As long as all the rules outlined on the operating procedures page of your rental contract are followed, and the unit is supervised at all times, they are very safe.
QUESTION: What is the rental period?
ANSWER: The rental period is up to 8 hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any special circumstances you might have, as we are very flexible and work around your schedule. We can also set up for an overnight occasion or a two day rental; please call to discuss pricing.
QUESTION: Who will come and break down the bounce houses?
ANSWER: The same driver will come and break down the bounce house unit and the break down time is 20-30 minutes. Please do not release the unit to anyone else unless you receive specific instructions from the original driver. Please also have unit inflated when we arrive.
QUESTION: How long does it take to set up the bounce house?
ANSWER: It takes about 20-30 minutes to set up the unit and review the safety guidelines with you.
QUESTION: What are my responsibilities as the renter of the bounce house?
ANSWER: A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise the children while the unit is in use. The adult must know all the safety rules and also be the enforcer of these rules. The renter is responsible for the safety of the children and the care of the equipment.
QUESTION: What if it is rainy or windy?
ANSWER: Bounce houses are not safe to use in the rain. Because of safety reasons, we reserve the right to cancel a reservation due to heavy rains or high winds (over 25 mph). There is no penalty to the renter. We will call you on the morning of your party to confirm your reservation in which at that time you have the option of canceling your order. If you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the unit is delivered, there will be no refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds.
